When Ms. Arroyo stepped into Focus 360, she felt the burden of her disappointment. As a single mother raising three children, she had invested months in job applications without achieving any results. Discouraged by her lack of work experience, she began to think that her efforts would never be enough, but everything changed on the first day of class.
Despite having previously encountered expressions such as “hard work yields results,” this instance resonated with her. Enveloped by encouraging facilitators and fellow participants, Ms. Arroyo decided to dedicate herself to her personal growth and future.

She participated enthusiastically in class, documented important information, and benefited from her facilitator’s knowledge. As she progressed on her master application and revised her resume, her perspective transformed from uncertainty to resolve with every step.
Mrs. Arroyo made the most of every chance to enhance her abilities. She rehearsed her mock interviews, polished her answers, and concentrated on showcasing her strengths to potential employers. Her dedication and hard work were certainly recognized.
All her diligent efforts were rewarded when she received a job offer at Rise Academy as a Program Assistant, with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour.
After several months of uncertainty, she now holds a significant role within a respected organization, which may become permanent after her probationary period.

The most uplifting part of Mrs. Arroyo’s story is the transformation in her mindset. She entered the situation feeling despondent and left feeling employed, motivated, and ready to continue her growth. She now perceives this job as a launching pad for a career she can take pride in, rather than simply a way to earn a paycheck.
