Before enrolling in Virtual Focus 360, Zachery had a clear employment goal. He knew the type of position he wanted, but also understood one key obstacle stood in the way. Although he had forklift experience, he was not certified, and employers required formal verification before allowing him to work.
Zachery had been unemployed for an extended period of time, which caused him to worry that his gap in employment might limit his chances. Still, he remained persistent, applying to multiple companies while searching for a path forward.
Participating in Virtual Focus 360 gave Zachery renewed energy and focus. The information and encouragement he received helped him stay committed to his goal and confident in his abilities. Acting on that momentum, Zachery registered with iStaffing, where he was connected to an employer willing to evaluate his forklift skills on-site.
The results were immediate. Within just ten minutes of observing his performance, the employer confirmed that Zachery had the technical ability needed to operate a forklift safely and effectively. He was offered full-time employment, earning $18 per hour.
Although adjusting to a 5:00 a.m. start time will take discipline, Zachery is grateful to be back in the workforce and excited to reestablish a stable routine. Although his time at Virtual Focus 360 was brief, he appreciated the guidance and motivation he received.
