When Ms. Bean first arrived at Focus 360, she felt uncertain. She had been scheduled for the program several times before but was unable to attend due to personal circumstances. This time, however, she decided to give the opportunity her full attention.

After completing Orientation, her perspective began to shift. She felt more comfortable and began connecting with others in the class.

During one session, Stephanie Bourgeois (LACOE CDPA) shared a job lead for an immediate opening with Allied Universal. After spending many years working as a caregiver, Ms. Bean had been hoping to transition into the security field. The opportunity caught her attention immediately.

Determined to prepare well, she practiced interview questions in class and carefully reviewed her facilitator’s guidance.

That preparation made a difference.
