Angel entered the Focus 360 with hope and fortitude. With experience cleaning and sanitizing many types of environments, he wanted more than temporary work. His goal was stability and the ability to provide consistently for his family.
Early in the program, Angel spoke openly about the pressures he faced, including the challenge of stretching resources through the end of each month. Despite those difficulties, he remained focused on moving forward.
From the very first week, Angel approached the program with discipline. He began submitting job applications and actively sought advice on improving his interview skills. When an interview opportunity arose, he requested permission to leave class early to attend.
Preparation became his strategy.
During the next virtual session, Angel shared exciting news with his classmates. The interview had gone well, and he had been offered a full-time position as a laborer earning $17 per hour with benefits.
For Angel, the moment represented more than employment. It reflected the work he had put into preparing himself for the opportunity.
Focus 360 helped him refine his job-search approach and strengthen the foundation he needed to pursue new opportunities.
Angel’s experience shows that progress rarely appears overnight. Often it begins with showing up, staying focused, and continuing to move forward even when the path ahead is uncertain.
